Gas strut for our COBRA trailer front doors. 

We always recommend replacing both gas struts, for example to prevent the front door from closing and opening at an angle due to different gas strut strengths. In addition, different gas strut strengths can occur due to tolerances during filling, which is why we always send two gas struts from the same batch when ordering two gas struts. This ensures that the gas struts have the same strength and the same characteristics. If you use gas struts with possibly different strengths, the probability increases that the weaker gas strut will be damaged again due to additional load.

Types

• 1: Gas strut for the small front door made of aluminum for standard single-seater trailers in the technical version with two gas struts (one on the right and one on the left). Gas strut strength: 150N
• 2: Gas strut for the large front door made of aluminum for standard two-seater trailers in the technical version with two gas struts (one on the right and one on the left). Gas strut strength: 200N
• 3: Gas strut for the wide front door made of GRP in the technical version with two gas struts (one on the right and one on the left). Gas spring strength: 250N
• 4: Gas strut for the small front flap made of GRP in the technical version with two gas struts (one on the right and one on the left). Gas spring strength: 150N
• 5: Gas strut for the angular front flap made of GRP in the technical version with one central gas strut. Gas strut strength: 150N
• 6: Gas strut for the front flap made of aluminum in the technical version with a central gas strut. Gas spring strength: 150N

Notes

• The gas struts have a length of approx. 265 mm center/center between the gas strut eyes.
